Advanced Course on Interventional Pain Management
(Course Code: V)

This is an advanced course/ fellowship on pain management. It is arranged in association with AESCULAP ACADEMY.

Course Duration: It is a five days Aesculap Academy training on pain management where stresses have been given to the practical aspects of advanced interventional pain management procedures, including hands on practice session on mannequin.

Eligibility: He must have completed any one of following:

1. Aesculap Academy 2 weeks fellowship on pain management.
2. Post graduate degree (MD/MS/MCh) in the following disciplines:
Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, and General Medicine.
3. Post graduate diploma (DA/DOrtho etc.) in the above disciplines with exposure in pain management.

Schedule: The training programme is arranged 3 times per year. The date of commencement, details of course & course fees are announced well in advance.

15th – 19th July 2010
26th – 30th August 2010
2nd – 6th December 2010

Course fee:
20,000.00 INR for Indian participants.
950.00 USD for Foreign participants & NRIs.
This course fee does not include food & lodging which has to be arranged by participant. If requested we may assist in arranging accommodation.
Spot registration is possible only if there are available seats.
For spot registration (including registration done 2 weeks prior to the commencement of a particular course) participants need to pay additional Rs. 3000.00 (USD 150.00 for foreigners) along with the usual course fee.

+Cervical Ozone Nucleolysis
+Cervical Discography
+Thoracic Facet Block
+Supra-Scapular Nerve Block
+Ozone nucleolysis / Ozone Disectomy / Ozonucleolysis,
+Prolotherapy / Prolozone Therapy
+Radio Frequency Procedures (of Gasserian ganglion, Stellate ganglion, Facet joint medial nerve, Splanchnic nerve, Knee joint, Sacro-iliac joint, Lumber Sympathetic plexus, Sup Hypogastric plexus etc.)
+Lumber Discography
+Percutaneous Disc Decompression (Discectomy),
+Vertebroplasty,
+Spinal cord stimulator / Intrathecal Drug delivery system,
+Epiduroscopy
(Actual demonstration schedule varies according to availability of cases. About 80-90% of the above mentioned procedures would be demonstrated. Video demonstration/discussion will be done for those cases, which will not be available.)

There will be Hands-on Mannequin practice session on these procedures

Comments: Five to Ten candidates per batch for five days.

After enrollment we shall send the details of payments formalities. Registration process will be completed with payment of course fee. Course fees paid on reporting after initial enrollment is regarded as spot registration.
