2 Weeks' Fellowship/Training on Pain Management
It is a two weeks Aesculap Academy Fellowship on pain management where stresses has been given to the practical aspect of interventional pain management and there is optional hands on practice session at the end of the course.

Participants will get adequate time to practice with mannequin under C-arm to learn the interventional pain management procedures. 20-25 procedures will be demonstrated on mannequin. Participants can choose 10-12 procedures of their choice to practice these for longer time. This is applicable for all the courses, though types of interventions vary with different courses.

1. Copy of your highest academic qualification.
2. One passport sized photograph.
3. Residence proof (copy of passport is the best).
4. Two recommendation letters in their letterheads from any of the two of the following persons:
a) Head of his/her Institution.
b) Principal, Superintendent or Head of the departments of any Medical college.
c) Secretary or President of State or National branch of ISSP, ISA, IOA, NSI, IASP, WIP or similar association/societies.
d) MLA or MP.
e) Assistant Commissioner of Police or higher ranked Police Officer.
This recommendation letters will be addressed to "The Director, Daradia: The Pain Clinic". It should be mentioned clearly that the recommending person knows the participant for more than 2 years (should mention candidate's working place/s for last two years) and the participant was never involved in any criminal/unlawful activities. It should also be mentioned that the participant maintains Ethical and Professional Standards in his/her medical practice.

On-line or telephonic interview of the participants may be taken before confirmation of enrollment by any of the three member of the selection committee given below. A letter of approval or email from any of these three members of selection committee is required for final registration. Participants may directly contact these members for this approval letter. Decision of this committee is final. Once a participant is enrolled to a particular course he/she cannot change it. Fresh application and interview is needed to change a course once enrolled. Details of Payments and Confirmation of Registration:
Once enrollment is confirmed from our end, all participants should pay course fee to confirm registration. Payment of course fee should be made by cash or demand draft drawn in favor of "DARADIA, THE PAIN CLINIC" payable at Kolkata. International participants may send course fee by Bank Transfer. Mail us at

A registration fee (non-refundable) of Rs 4000.00 (for Indian participants) or USD 250 (for International participants) has been added from April 2011. So total course fee is increased to INR 23,000.00 and USD 1150.00 respectively. Paymanet of registration fee confirms registration and should be paid by demand draft or cash during enrollment. Remaining part of course fee should be paid before due date. Registration may be cancelled and other candidate may be taken if full course fee is not paid before due date.
We are forced to add these steps including registration fee as many participants enroll or register and cancell at last moment before coomencement of course. We request you to apply only when you are determined to join the course.

Hands on practice on mannequin under c-arm are organised on 2 days within this course. This is included for all participants attending 2 weeks course.
